本研究目的的旨在探討血液透析患者疲憊、憂鬱與運動耐力之相關性。採描述相關性研究設計，以立意取樣於南部某醫學中心選取52位血液透析病患。研究工具包括疲憊評量表、貝氏憂鬱量表及進行固定式腳踏車運動測試以測量尖峰攝氧量來評估運動耐力。研究結果顯示血液透析患者的疲憊與憂鬱情緒皆傾向中等程度，平均運動耐力為10.93ml/kg/min，代表心肺耐力極差；年齡、身體質量指數、疲憊、憂鬱與運動耐力呈顯著的負相關，表示年齡愈大，身體質量指數愈高、疲憊愈高、憂鬱愈高，則運動耐力愈低；其中年齡、身體質量指數及憂鬱等三個預測變項，可解釋運動耐力37.3%的總變異量。本研究結果可髼為護理人員提供血液透析病患改善運動耐力介入措施之參考。

The purpose of this study was to expore the relationships between fatigue, depression, and exercise capacity in hemodialysis patients. A descriptive and correlation study design was used. Using purposive sampling, 52 subjects were recruited from a medical center in southern Taiwan. Data were collected by the Fatigue Scale and Beck Depression Inventory. Exercise capacity was determined by the measurement of peak oxygen uptake, and by the patients' performance during a stationary bicycle exercise test. Results of the study showed that the average scores for fatigue and depression were within moderate degree. The mean exercise capacity was 10.93 ml /kg /min, and demonstrated the functional capacity was very poor. Age, body mass index (BMI), fatigue, and depression were significantly and negatively associated with exercise capacity, indicating that hemodialysis patients who had greater age, higher BMI, fatigue and depression had a lower exercise capacity. Age, BMI, and depression explain 37.3% of the total variance in exercise capacity. The study findings can help nurses develop nursing interventions for patients with hemodialysis to improve their exercise capacity.
