重度腦幹出血性中風中醫照會治療病例報告

Integrated treatment of TCM and western medicine for severe brain stem hemorrhagic stroke -A case report

48歲男性患者，糖尿病病史，無規律服藥控制，105年10月17日突發肢體無力，隔日意識昏迷，西醫診斷為腦幹出血，採保守治療，於本院接受中西醫結合治療，治療三個月後，患者已可獨自行走，基本生活可自理，預後良好，故提出此病例討論，並分享黃仲諄醫師治療腦部損傷之中醫治療用藥和預後經驗，希望共同提升中醫介入早期中風疾患的機會，讓更多患者接受中西醫合作的專業照護。

This was a 48-year-old male patient with past history of diabetes without regular medical treatment. He used to work in night shift without regular exercise habits. He felt sudden onset of left side limbs weakness with vomiting on Oct. 17th,2016, and was brought to our ER for help where NE present GCS:E3V2M5. He was diagnosed as brain stem hemorrhage. At the next day, consciousness level change to E1V2M4. Since the doctor decided to take conservative treatment, patient started to take Chinese medication on Oct. 22th. After treated for 2 months, he was able to walk with crutch. In our experience, integrated treatment of TCM and western medicine is very important for stroke patients. Treated with modified Wen Dan Tang to decrease inflammation products by restoring human qi circulation. Once qi circulation recovering, brain repairmen can be accelerated. We hope to share this case and our experience of staged treatment for stroke to reduce mortality and disability rate.
