為改善八芝蘭竹(Bambusa pachinensis)竹管之尺寸安定性與抗黴性,延長其使用壽命,本研究利用減壓注入法,將低分子量酚甲醛樹脂(PF)注入至竹材內,探討其對木材物理性質及抗黴性之影響。研究結果顯示隨PF注入濃度越高,竹材重量增加率有越高的趨勢;隨竹稈壁厚度增加,PF重量增加率成乘冪式降低。經PF注入處理後可降低竹材吸濕性與尺寸變化率,可提高竹管的尺寸安定性。以PF 20%以上濃度注入八芝蘭竹竹管,可以完全防止竹材發黴。整體而言,PF注入對八芝蘭竹竹材之物理性質及抗黴性皆有顯著的改善效果。

英文摘要

The purpose of this study was to extend the service life of Bambusa pachinensis bamboo through dimensional stability and mold resistance modified by impregnation with low molecular weight phenol-formaldehyde resin (PF) using vacuum process. The effects of PF impregnations on the physical properties and mold resistance of specimens were investigated. The experimental results showed that the bamboo weight percent gain tend to increase as the impregnated concentration of PF increased. As the bamboo culm wall thickness increases, the PF weight percent gain decreases in a power function. The hygroscopicity and shrinkage of bamboo culm can be significantly reduced after impregnated with PF, and the dimensional stability of bamboo culm can be improved. The bamboo culm impregnated with a PF concentration of more than 20% can completely prevent the bamboo from becoming moldy. In general, the physical properties and mold resistance of bamboo could be effectively improved by impregnation with low molecular weight PF resin.
