為了解市售美白類化粧品中是否有違法攙加行政院衛生署公告不得使用之成分Hydroquinone，自九十一年三月至四月止，各縣市衛生局於美容沙龍護膚中心、美容美髮材料行、化粧品量販店、藥粧店、藥局及超市等處抽購檢體，共計取得檢體87件，採用本局自行開發並經確效之高效液相層析方法進行檢驗。檢體先經0.05M磷酸二氫鉀溶液抽取，使用之層析管柱為COSMOSIL 5C18-AR-II (4.6mm×250mm)，移動相為0.05M磷酸二氫鉀溶液(pH2.5)：甲醇(99：1，v/v)，檢測波長為280nm。檢驗結果，有4件檢出Hydroquinone，檢出其含量分別為6.4、5.5、4.9及2.5%，均屬需醫師處方用藥（含Hydroquinone 2%以上）之含量，其中3件為輸入品 ，另一件則未標示製造廠名稱、廠址及國別，檢出率為4.6%。外盒包裝或容器標示檢查方面，不符規定者17 件，包括輸入品13 件，未標示國別者4件，佔抽驗總件數之19.5%，不符規定項目以未標示製造廠名稱及廠址最多，有15件（佔17.2%）。本調查係本局之比較檢驗，曾於九十一年五月二十八日發布新聞在案。

In order to investigate whether hydroquinone were adulterated in the marketed whitening cosmetics, eighty-seven samples were randomly collected from beauty saloons, cosmetics stores, pharmacies and supermarkets by local health authorities in Taiwan during March to April 2002. Samples were analyzed by the high performance liquid chromatographic method. The result showed that four samples contained hydroquinone and the amounts of hydroquinone were at 6.4, 5.5, 4.9 and 2.5%, respectively. Seventeen samples (19.5%) violated the labeling regulations.
