本研究選擇南投縣魚池鄉蓮華池集水區爲試驗地,於不同生青地況之林地,探討其滲透能力,並尋求林地土壤之粗孔隙量與土壤貯水舘(PF0〜2.54)之關係,以期有效定量推估森林涵養水資源之功能。試驗結果如下:(一)各試區之平均最終滲透率,以砍伐跡地爲最高,依次是肖楠60年生,杉木20年生,天然闊葉林地,肖楠30年生,杉木10年生,杉木3年生,肖楠5年生,而以裸露地最低。(二)土壤之粗孔隙較總孔度與土壤最終滲透率之關係更為密切,因此以土壤粗孔隙量及土壤貯水能(pF0〜2.54水分量)之關係,可以作為土壤貯水機能之指標。

英文摘要

This thesis is done by carrying experiments on the Lien-hua-chi watershed. We evaluate the infiltration capacity in the different covers of the forestland. Furthermore, attempts are also made to search for the relation between the macropores of the forest land and the water storage capacity (pF-2.54) of forest land in order to estimate the quantitative effect of conserving the water resources by the forest land efficiently. The results obtained from the analysis of these experiments are summarized as follows: 1. The average final infiltration rate of the different plots from the largest to the smallest are in the following: the logged area>Taiwan Incense- cedar 60 yrs.>China fir 20yrs.>natural hardwood forest> Taiwan Incense-cedar 30 yrs.>China fir 10 yrs.>China fir 3 yrs.>Taiwan Incense-cedar 5 yrs.>the bare land. 2. There is a more significant correlation of the final infiltration to the macropores of the soil than that to its total porosity, and thus the relation between amount of macropores and water storage capacity can be serve as an index which indicates the effect of water storage capacity of the soil.
