杉原地滑地位於台東海岸山脈東側,屬利吉層青灰岩地帶,坡度介於15%〜20%,滑動區地表除種植果樹及檳榔樹外,均呈裸露狀態,因而地表之冲蝕亦相當嚴重。本試驗的目的在於確定滑動量之大小,滑動方向及滑動面之深度,以便尋找有效之防治工程。爲探討其滑動之機構,在該地埋設伸縮計、傾斜計及應變測定管等儀器。據儀器觀測所得之資料與地下水追踪試驗之結果,而興建地表及地下水之排水工程及蛇籠之擋土牆等抑止工程。經實施防治工程後之觀測資料分析得知,本地滑區經處理後已顯出極大之防治效果。

英文摘要

The way to avoid the imminent disaster and to reduce the damage degree in human life and property is to find a reasonable analytical method and to control the land slide effectively. San-yen Land Slide was selected as the experimental area. The objective of this study was to assure the relative movement, the direction of movement, and the location of sliding layer. The expansion gauge, underground strain gauge and tiltmeter were installed to observe the displacement of the ground. Auording the data collected from those instruments, the surface and underground drainage treatments, and gabion wall were constructed. The results indicated that there were significant effect of those engineering treatments.
