日語的派生形容詞是以名詞、動詞、形容詞等為詞幹，並函上形容詞化後綴的「-らし(い)、-たらし(い)、-(っ)たらし(い)、-っぽ(い)、-っこ(い)」等來形成的。本文的目的，旨在從日語派生形容詞的詞幹與形容詞化後綴之間的造詞、構詞與詞彙凾能等的討論中，探索在語言學上有意義的條理化。 本文共分八節。第一節的「前言」概述本文的目的與內容，並在第二節的「形容詞化後綴'-らしい'與助動詞的用法'～らしい'的區別」中討論二者在語意內涵與句法凾能上的差別。接著，在第三節到第七節中分別討論上述日語形容詞化後綴的意義與用法，而在第八節的「結語」中提示本文的主要內容與將來的研究課題。 本文特別針對「(-)らしい」，這個同音異義詞的「助動詞用法」與「形容詞化後綴用法」提出明確的鑒別標準，並對各種形容詞化後綴相互之間在意義與用法上的差別做出若干論述與說明。

One of the ways to form derived adjectives in Japanese is to add adjectivalizing suffixes, such as '-rashi (i), -tarashi (i), -ttarashi (i), -kko (i), -tta (i), -ppo (i)', to noun, verb or adjective stems. The present paper aims to investigate word formation, word structure and word functions concerning these derived adjectives in an attempt to bring out linguistically useful generalizations. In this paper, following Section 1, which presents the aim and content of the paper, Section 2 discusses the distinctions in meaning and usage between the homonymous auxiliary '~rashii' and adjectivalizing suffix '-rashii'. Then Section 3 to Section 7, examine, respectively, the adjectivalizing suffixes with regard to their meaning and usage. Finally, Section 8 summarizes the main points of the paper and suggests the topics for future studies. The present paper has made an effort to distinguish between the auxiliary usage and the suffixal usage of the homonym '(-)rashii' in as explicit a manner as possible. In addition, the similarities as well as differences between the various adjectivalizing suffixes in their meanings and usage are also discussed in rather detail.
