本文主要討論宋澤萊的小說《血色蝙蝠降臨的城市》（1996）中的歷史災難、創傷與靈恩（聖靈的恩賜）等主題。本文從當代文化理論（特別是後結構主義）與創傷理論的角度出發，結合佛教、基督教「蠶恩運動」、聖靈論與保羅神學，來討論主體面對創傷的四種方式，並進一步整理小說中聖靈運作的方式，以說明創傷的時間性以及創傷經驗的接取與傳譯。最後，本文提出一種創傷詮釋學，以說明這本小說對當代文化（理論）的困境有何啟發。
