道家批判封建名制的語言框限所提供去語障解心囚的語言策略打開了獨特的思域，在畫中，讓觀者自由無礙地同時浮游在鳥瞰、騰空平視、地面平視、仰視等角度，一種自由浮動的印記活動；在文言詩裏，則是一種靈活的語法，跳脫大部份語言中定向定義的指義元素，讀者在字與字之間保持著一種「若即若離」的解讀活動，經歷一種類似「指義前」物象自現的原真狀態，中國古典詩在並置物象、事件和（語言有時不得不圈出）的意義之「間」留出一個想像活動的空間，讓我們在物物之間來來回回，冥思靜聽，像在中國山水畫前景後景之間的空靈雲霧，虛虛實實地，把我們平常的距離感消解了，在空的「環中」，冥思萬象，接受多層經驗面感受面的交參競躍而觸發語言框限之外、指義之外、定距的透視之外更大的整體自然生命的活動。詩人、畫家盡量避免以「我」來宰製萬物的形義，任萬物不受幹預地自然興現，並肯定物之為物（物自性）的本然本樣。這個物表物方式，可以幫我們瞭解現代西方批判柏拉圖、亞裏士多德、以來「以人制物」「以語框物」深層意義，和中國詩「意象並置」或「蒙太奇」的手法激發龐德以來美國詩語法的重新發明（利用語法的切斷與空間的切斷獲致類似中國詩的美學效果）的緣由，以及龐德後起的詩人能夠很輕易地擁抱道家式物自性的新思域的線索。
