金恩小說《草長青,水長流》以混合異文的郊狼搗蛋書寫技巧著稱,諧擬歐裔駐進殖民者的創世起源神話,凸顯加拿大境內原住民與土地的關係,以及在殖民歷史過程中的變化。本文側重研究加拿大文化與土地的關係,企圖釐清與加拿大認同緊密相連的土地論述其剝奪原住民文化的殖民機轉,進一步呈現北美原住民的當代文化地景。本文採文本分析方式,首先介紹叢林花園此一對加拿大文化影響深遠的背景,其後分兩部分探討小說敘事顛覆駐進殖民者文化的細節,依序就伊甸花園的創世神話與水壩的科技理性,逐一檢視原住民抵制殖民餘緒的反動。最後討論郊狼此一轉動敘事與修補世界的搗蛋鬼角色,以及其所製造的郊狼現象,闡釋金恩跨越文化藩籬,再現北美原住民的書寫策略。
