中文摘要

Four growth trials were conducted to quantify the dietary protein and lipid requirements for marble eel, Anguilla marmorata, with different body weight. Experimental diets containing four protein (40, 45, 50 and 55%) (Exp. 1 & 2) or five lipid levels (5, 8, 11, 14 and 17%) (Exp. 3 & 4) were fed to triplicates of eel. Triplicate groups of fish [initial body weight: 2.29 (Exp. 1), 21.97 (Exp. 2), 7.52 (Exp. 3) and 14.74 g (Exp. 4)] were fed with each experimental diet for 8 weeks in a flow-through rearing system. In Exp. 1, fish fed 50 and 55% protein diets had significantly higher (P < 0.05) weight gain (WG) than those fed other dietary treatments. Feed conversion rate (FCR) was best in the groups fed diets with 50 and 55% protein, followed by the group fed diet with 45% protein, and lowest in the group fed diet with 40% protein. In Exp. 2, WG and FCR were better in fish fed with 45-55% protein diets than those in fish fed with 40% protein diet. In Exp. 3, fish fed with 8% lipid diet had higher WG than those fed other dietary treatments. In Exp. 4, fish fed with 5-8% lipid diets had highest WG, followed by 11 and 17% groups, and lowest in fish fed with 14% lipid diet. FCR was better in fish fed with 5 and 8% lipid diet than other dietary treatments. Results indicated that marble eel requires 50 and 45% of dietary protein for maximal growth while their body weight were 2.29 and 21.97 g, respectively. The dietary lipid requirements for the species were 8%, regardless of their body weight.
