光觸媒材料之特性(如:晶體結構、粒徑、表面型態、化學屬性等)與催化性能有著密不可分關係。本研究應用商業TiO2奈米粉體,進行高溫煆燒處理以製得不同粉體型態。輔以X-ray Diffraction、DTA、BET、TEM等分析工具,評估奈米TiO2光觸媒粉體經煆燒處理後特性之變化,並探討其於紫外光激發下對水中有機物催化活性的影響。 實驗結果顯示;煆燒後粉體具有晶粒成長現象。同時,TiO2光催化分解水中有機物反應過程符合擬一次反應。未經煆燒處理之銳鈦礦(Anatase)晶形TiO2奈米粉體,具有最高之光催化活性。經高溫煆燒處理後光催化活性均下降。

英文摘要

The photocatalytic properties of TiO2 nanopowders are closely related to their structural and chemical characteristics, such as, crystal structure, particle size, morphology, and chemical properties etc. In this study, the TiO2 nanopowders were calcined at 600, 800, and 1000℃ to obtain various powder characteristics. The calcined nanopowders were then analyzed by XRD, DTA, BET, and TEM. Effects of these nanopowders characteristics on photocatalytic activity were investigated by measuring the degradations of photocatalytic of humic acid in water with illumination of ultraviolet light. The results shows that the calcined powders exhibited grain growth phenomena. In addition, the photocatalytic degradations of humic acid in water corresponded to a pseudo first order reaction. Furthermore, the uncalcined TiO2 nanopowders, which contained pure anatase phase, exhibited the highest activity in photocatalytic degradation. Their activities all decreased after calcination.
