本研究使用可模擬高爐內部反應之高溫軟熔試驗設備,探討細粒含鐵原料對高爐軟熔帶、滴落帶所產生之影響,及其改善之道,以期對此次級原料做較高效益之利用。主要之研究結果如下:塊鐵礦粒徑下降(至6.3-8mm),對軟熔性有不利之影響;其軟化溫度降低、軟熔時之透氣性惡化。燒結礦粒度下降(至3-5mm),則極不利於其高溫透氣性及滴落性。欲將此細粒次級原料使用於高爐,有下列改善方式:(1)將細粒塊鐵礦與一般燒結礦混合後使用,有頗佳的軟熔性質。(2)將細燒結礦(約10%至40%)添加在一般塊鐵礦之中,不但可消除細燒結礦高溫透氣性之缺陷,並能改善塊鐵礦之軟熔性質。(3)將細燒結礦與20至40%細塊鐵礦拌合。此拌合原料有頗佳之教熔性質,而達高品質球結礦之水準。

英文摘要

The experiments were conducted under simulated blast furnace conditions to study the effect of grain size on softening and melting properties of the burden materials. It was found that the smaller the size of iron ore, the worse the softening and melting properties. However, when the small-sized iron ore is mixed with the sinter and the pellet, it may not worsen the properties of the mixture. The smaller the size of the sinter, the poorer the high temperature permeability and the meltdown property. The small-sized sinter could be mixed with the lump iron ore to improve the softening property of the lump iron ore. Mixing the small-sized iron ore with the small-sized sinter could improve the properties of the small-sized sinter. Several mixing patterns have presented satisfactory softening and melting properties of the burden.
