本研究以開發模造玻璃之玻璃材料為目標。選擇P2O5-Nb2O5-SrO-Li2O玻璃系統為基礎,以Li2O取代SrO,及改變Nb2O5與P2O5間之比例,探討其對本玻璃系統之影響。在基本性質方面,其折射率在1.61~1.85之間,可見光區穿透率大於80%,玻璃轉換溫度低於550℃,皆能符合模造玻璃基本要求,具有相當潛力應用於模造透鏡上。結構分析方面使用NMR和Raman光譜。由31P NMR得知Li離子會促進磷酸鹽鏈結解離,因此Li2O的添加可以有效降低熔融溫度和玻璃轉換溫度。由Raman光譜證實Nb離子會進入玻璃結構中,增加網絡結構的交聯密度,以至於在相當低的磷酸鹽含量下仍可維持玻璃結構穩定性。

英文摘要

The object of this research is to explore additive effects on the properties and structure of molding glass materials. Our study focused on P2O5-Nb2O5-SrO-Li2O glass system in which Li2O replaced Sr Oto adjust Nb2O5 and P2O5ratio. Results showed that (1) the glass refractive index ranged between 1.61~1.85, (2) the transmittance in visible region > 80%, and (3) the glass transition temperature <550℃. Properties of these glasses meet the standard of molding glasses and are suitable for molding lenses. We used NMR and Raman spectrometer to study the glass structure. 31P NMR results showed that the Li ion promoted the dissociation of phosphate chains. Therefore, adding Li2O decreased melting temperature and glass transition temperature. Raman spectra examination confirmed that Nb ion in the glass structure thus increase the cross-linking density of the glass network structure. The glasses maintained the network structure stability even with little phosphate content.
