本研究是探討加稀土鋼煉鋼時鋼液發生連鑄堵塞的成因,研究方法是先做含稀土(RE)合金設計,在現場試製,在盛鋼桶加RE原料前調整鋼液S含量,並觀察各爐次發生鋼液堵塞情形,完成試製後,取樣做硫、氧含量解析及堵塞物SEM/EDS解析。結果顯示加稀土鋼發生堵塞與否是和產品RE及S含量相關,RE含量在0.017~0.036%且S含量 ≧ 20 ppm均發生堵塞,且堵塞物含大量的S、Ce、La、Nd,O含量則與發生堵塞無絕對關係,故建議避免堵塞之對策為在盛鋼桶加RE原料前再脫硫至 ≦ 15ppm。 |
英文摘要 |
The purpose of this study is to develop clogging free casting of a rare earth (RE) alloyed steel. The experimental procedures included alloy design of RE-containing steel and production trials in the mill. We conducted a series of trials using various sulfur content in the steel before alloying of RE in the ladle and observed if clogging takes place during casting. We also sampled the steel products to determine the sulfur and oxygen contents. The deposits from the clogging were also sampled and analyzed using SEM/EDS techniques. Results showed that the clogging was closely related to the RE and S contents in the steel products. Clogging occurred in steel with RE content 0.017 - 0.036% and S content ≧ 20 ppm. The deposits from the clogging also contained a large amount of S, Ce, La, and Nd. The O content did not appear to be a factor effecting the clogging. We conclude that desulfurization to an S content ≦ 15 ppm before alloying of RE in the ladle should eliminate clogging in casting. |
