Nonplanar Solutions of the Two-Body Problem in Classical Electrodynamics

A class of relativistic nonplanar two-body solutions is found recently by Chern and Havas, which does not have nonrelativistic counterparts. The special case in which the particles interacting through time-symmetric electromagnetic interactions is studied here in details. Ranges and limits of the relevant parameters are calculated numerically. Expressions are obtained for total energy, angular momentum and center of mass. The particular characteristics of the solutions are discussed.
