A nanosecond associated particles time of flight system is set up in connection with the 14.1 MeV neutron generator. The details of the neutron target and shielding assembly, the associated a particle detector and the electronics for the detecting system are described. Characteristic time resolution, detection efficiency and background are presented. The capabilities of the system is shown. |
