The resistivity and magnetization of YBCO films with and without Ag impurities have been measured in the temperature range below Tc in relation to the flux pinning of the films. The resistivity data in magnetic fields were analyzed by means of the flux creep theory. We found that the Ag impurities in YBCO films enhance the pinning ability. The derived activation energy depends on temperature and magnetic field. These data are compared with those of BSCCO and TBCCO films. |
