Many of the symmetries seem to be realized in the form of spontaneously broken symmetries. The understanding, of the spontaneous symmetry breaking (SSB) has played a very important role in the development of the high energy physics. The role of SSB in various physical symmetries in high energy physics is reviewed, including discrete, global, and local symmetries. |
