英文摘要 |
Dynamical symmetries in nuclei is reviewed. A recently developed nuclear model, the Fermion Dynamical Symmetry Model (FDSM), is presented. The FDSM is essentially a shell model in a symmetry-truncated space, which is tractable, thus making the shell model applicable to heavy or medium-heavy mass regions. It is shown that the commonly used Particle-Rotor Model, the Cranking Shell Model, and the Interacting Boson Model, can all be derived from the FDSM as different limits under certain approximations. Thus the desired goal of unification and microscopic justification on the shell model ground for different nuclear models is reached. The advantages of the FDSM compared to the traditional models and how to implement it into a practical calculation scheme for realistic nuclear study are also discussed. |
