Bosonization of Heavy and Light Quarks Induced by the Homogeneous Vacuum Gluon Field

The masses of mesons from different regions of the spectra are described within a unified approach based on the nonlocal extension of the Nambu-Jona-Lasinio model with a (anti-)self-dual homogeneous vacuum gluon field background. The model has a minimal set of parameters: the quark masses, the tension of the vacuum field and the four-fermion coupling constant.
