The fine structure splittings in the (3s^23p^4)3P and (3s3p^5)3P^o terms of the S-like ions are calculated by using the multiconfiguration Dirac-Fock (MCDF) method. The subtraction of the spurious nonrelativistic contributions substantially improves the agreement of the theoretical results with experiment. |
