We investigate the multi-path effects of the non-nearest neighbor percolation model in a granular metal system. This effect's feature offers a higher electron transport probability thereby obtaining a lower system resistance and exhibiting a lower T0 in the fractional temperature dependence of the electrical transport properties, with ¾ proportional to exp[¡ (T0=T)^(1/2)]. We develop a percolation calculation method for multi-path analysis, it can be utilized for any random or regular lattice, e.g., sc, bcc, fcc. To assess whether the multi-path analysis that we have presented for the non-nearest neighbor percolation theory is accurate, we have calculated the hopping resistance for a 3-dimensional(3D) bcc lattice, and compared it with the corresponding resistor circuit simulation. In addition, the multi-path analysis can be extended to the next-next-nearest-neighbor (n.n.n.n.) hopping range, which is sufficiently far. |
