The parameter spreads of the direct-current superconducting quantum interference devices (dc SQUID) with high-transition temperature (high-T(subscript c)) Josephson junctions were investigated. The histograms of the critical currents reported in literature were found to fit the gamma and the log-normal distributions. The observed critical-current asymmetry roughly follows the probability-density function of asymmetry parameter derived from the both distributions. The proposed functions are useful in the optimization of the design and fabrication process of the high-T(subscript c) dc SQUID. |
