The dynamics of the two-coupled chaotic systems in the one-dimensional return map of the Belousov-Zhabotinsky (BZ) reaction is investigated. This attempt reveals that the two-coupled maps of the BZ reaction are synchronized with the change from chaos to periodic oscillation above a certain coupling strength. Moreover, the periodicity of the maps varies from the period-four oscillation to the period-three oscillation with an increase in the coupling strength. On the other hand, in the two-coupled chaotic systems in the logistic map, they are only weakly synchronized in the systems close to the windows, and are not synchronized in the systems far from the windows. It is suggested that the difference of the dynamics between the one-dimensional map of the BZ reaction and the logistic map is based on the narrow range of chaos of the one-dimensional map of the BZ reaction. |
