本研究以電子顯微鏡觀察臺灣產十大功勞屬(Mahonia)植物:竹子山十大功勞(M. tikushiensis)、阿里山十大功勞(M. oiwakensis)、玉山十大功勞(M. morrisonensis)以及島田氏十大功勞(M. shimadae)的花粉形態。臺灣產十大功勞屬花粉爲單粒花粉,萌芽溝爲不規則及螺旋溝兩種,花粉外壁雕紋從平滑、細網狀紋及小網狀紋三種。從花粉的萌發溝及雕紋形態可將臺灣產十大功勞區分爲,具有螺旋溝及細網狀紋的阿里山十大功勞和竹子山十大功勞;不規則溝的兩種十大功勞爲表面平滑的島田氏十大功勞及小網狀紋的玉山十大功勞。

英文摘要

The pollen morphology of Mahonia in Taiwan, M. morrisonensis, M. oiwakensis, M. shimadae and M. tikushiensis, was studied. Pollen grains of Mahonia in Taiwan are monads. The aperture was irregular or spiraperturate. The sculpture of pollen grains was smooth, subreticate and fine reticate. Pollen grains of M. oiwakensis and M. tikushiensis were spiraperturate, and their sculptures were fine reticate. Pollen grains of two species of M. morisonensis and M. shimadae were irregular, M. shimadae was smooth sculpturate and M.morrisonensis was subreticulum sculpture.
