本試驗材料以油棕櫚纖維和椰殼纖維爲例進行鹼法製漿。試驗結果得知,椰殼纖維與油棕櫚纖維之製漿收率分別約48-68%及53-58%。木化分析結果得知,油棕櫚纖維之全纖維素高於椰纖維,而木質素及灰分含量也較椰纖維低,因此由棕櫚纖維之紙張物理性質即相對較椰殼纖維好。漂白試驗時間越長使紙力下降而提升白度。白度及不透明度隨塗佈量增加而上升,光澤度隨壓光而有明顯提升。以未塗佈紙及塗佈紙比較印刷適性結果發現,未塗佈紙微暈墨最嚴重,1號配方塗佈,紙暈程度最輕且細緻度最高。

英文摘要

Alkaline pulping was conducted using palm and coconut shell fibers in this study. Results showed that the yields for coconut shell and palm fibers were 48-68% and 53-58%, respectively. Wood chemical analysis revealed that the holocellulose content of palm fiber was higher then the value of coconut shell fiber. Its lignin and ash contents were lower than the values of coconut shell fiber. Hence, the paper physical properties of palm fiber were superior to the ones of coconut shell fiber. Longer bleaching times reduced the paper strengths and raised the brightness values. Brightness and opacity values were increased with increasing coat weights, and gloss values were clearly increased with calendaring. Comparing printabilities of uncoated and coated papers discovered that the most significant ink blurring occurred for uncoated papers. On the other hand, the least ink blurring and finest texture were achieved for the papers coated with formulation No. 1.
