影響居民參與社區林業因子之研究－以林美社區與湖本社區為例

本研究目的爲探討社區居民的背景變數對於社區參與是否有相關性，了解社區居民背景的不同，對於社區參與程度是否也有差異性存在。本計畫選擇社區林業計畫之實施社區，分別爲林美社區與湖本社區來進行比較研究。統計結果顯示，林美社區居民在社區參與程度上比湖本社區的居民較爲踴躍。健全的組織架構，會影響社區居民對於社區參與的熱絡程度，湖本社區有居民反應並不清楚社區發展事務，更有部分居民表示並不清楚社區內有社區發展協會的存在。居民背景變數與社區參與程度之相關性統計結果發現，兩個社區中，性別、年齡、教育程度、職業、個人平均月收入等5個因子與社區參與程度皆有顯著的關聯，特別是在性別與年齡兩個背景資料，對於社區參與程度皆有非常顯著的相關性存在。在此兩個社區中，男性的參與程度皆比女性踴躍，40-59歲年齡層的居民對於社區的參與程度也較爲踴躍。對於影響社區居民參與的因子中，性別、年齡、教育程度、職業、個人平均收入等，均為重要的因子。

The purpose of this study is to know the relationships of variables between community residents' background and community participation, and to understand the difference of these two. This study chooses the communities that are in the community forestry project, Lin-Mei community and Hu-Ban community. The result of statistical, Lin-Mei community is more enthusiastic than Hu-Ban community in community participation. The sound organizational structure can affect the degree of community participation to residents. Some residents say that they don't know the developments in community clearly, and some residents say that they don't know the community association clearly in Hu-Ban community. The result of the relation between community residents' background and community participation, we find that the five background variables: gender, age, education, job and income are all related to the degree of community participation obviously, especially in gender and age. In those two communities, males are more enthusiastic than females in community participation, and the age of 40-59 years old are more enthusiastic than the other age. We know that the five background varia bles can affect public participation, and they are all important variables.
