The sentence ”observing the difference between Heaven and Human beings” of ”Qiong-da-yi-shi” of Guo-dian bamboo maybe a topic that about Non-connection between the heaven and human beings or the Heaven/Human beings dichotomy. However, comparing with Mencius, ”Qiong-da-yi-shi” implies a deep Question of Justice and Fate. About this Confucian question in the Pre-Chin Period has two views: ”division of the Justice and Fate” of Professor Lao Sze-Kwang, and ”the Unity of the Justice and Fate” of Professor Tan Chun-Yi. Professor Lao explicates the relationship of heaven and human beings by the framework of ought/is, so Heaven(destiny) and Justice is non-connection. Professor Tan explicates the relationships between Justice and Fate is Unity of Heaven and Human beings or Heaven and Human beings as one, so life and reality is Harmony. According the text and context, I think the Harmony-Unity between Justice and Fate is the best explanation of ”Qiong-da-yi-shi”.
