淺談社會性軟體於公共圖書館生涯資訊服務之應用

生涯資訊服務在歐美地區公共圖書館已行之有年，近年來隨著失業率的攀升，公共圖書館更加重視生涯資訊服務，一般民眾對於公共圖書館提供生涯資訊服務亦相當肯定。社會性軟體有助資訊的快速傳播與利用，隨著各種社會性軟體的使用人數增加，圖書館透過社會性軟體提供各項服務益形重要。本文首先說明社會性軟體之功能與範疇，接著，以美國十大公共圖書館為例，探討目前社會性軟體於公共圖書館的主要應用層面，最後，針對美國公共圖書館應用社會性軟體於生涯資訊服務之實例加以討論，並提出相關建議，作為國內公共圖書館運用社會性軟體提供生涯資訊服務之參考。

With the rising unemployment rate, public libraries in the United States have been paying attention to providing career information services; users of the public libraries also appreciate these services. Social software facilitates the flow of information among individuals. With the increasing numbers of social software users, it is important for libraries to provide their services through a variety of ways, including through social software. This article first introduces the scope and features of social software, then gives an overview of general social-software applications in U.S. public libraries, and finally analyzes how social software is implemented for career information services. Suggestions for implementing social software for career information services in public libraries in Taiwan are also provided.
