研究中藥抗癌成分系列中,發現唇形科植物丹參(Salvia miltiorrhiza Bunge)之氯仿萃取物對鼻咽癌細胞(K B cell),具有良好的抑制效能。以抑制鼻咽癌細胞作用為試驗導向,用各種層析法和再結晶純化方式,分離出具有抗癌活性的成分。其中大部分的成分為隣二萜醌類,如丹參酮IIA(tanshinone IIA)、二氫丹參酮I(dihydrotanshinone I)及cryptotanshinone均有良好抑制鼻咽癌的作用。另外尚分離出數種微量成分:danshexinkun A,WLW-01,WLW-02,後兩種成分可能為本研究室首先分離之丹參新成分,分子量分別為314及312,其化學結構式待確定。

英文摘要

Chloroform extract of Tan-Shin, the root of Salvia miltiorrhiza, was found to have significant activity in vitro against cells derived from human epidermoid carcinoma of nasopharynx (KB).The active extract was chromatographed on silica gel, guided by assay against KB system, and revealed that the anti-tumor activity was on o-quinone. Among these compounds, tanshinone IIA, dihydrotanshinone I and cryptotanshinone are active, whereas tanshinone I exhibits only marginal activity against KB system. Danshexinkun A, WLW-01 and WLW-02 are minor components of Tan-Shin. The structures of the latter two compounds have being established.
