The Diagnostic Value of the Hemostasis Time in Comparison with the Ivy Bleeding Time

在43個具正常血小板及38個具不正常血小板之患者中，分別測定止血時間（hemostasis time）及艾氏出血時間。在正常血小板之人中，其平均艾氏出血時間及止血時間分別為303.2秒及487.1秒。從本實驗中發現，止血時間與艾氏出血時間、與血小板數目，與活性部分栓質時間、及與凝血酶原時間等之間之關係均甚差（分別為r=1.489，-0.191，0.226及以-0.135等）。在43個具正常血小板者之平均止血時間（487.1秒）與38個具異常血小板患者之平均止血時間（602.3秒）之比較中，亦無統計學上之意義（p=0.0938，Mann-Witney氏試驗）。從本實際所得之結論，證明止血時間在測定血小板之初級性止血功能方面，不能取代艾氏出血時間。

Hemostatis time (HT) and Ivy bleeding time (IBT) were determined in 43 subjects with normal platelet count and 38 patients with abnormal platelet count. The mean IBT and mean HT in the subjects with normal platelet count were 303.2 sec and 487.1 sec respectively. From our study, all the relationships between HT and IBT, HT and platelet count, HT and APTT, and HT and PT were very poor (r=0.489, -0.191, 0.266 and -0.135 respectively). There was not significant difference between the mean HT of 43 subjects with normal platelet count (487.1 see) and the mean HT of 38 subjects with abnormal platelet count (602.3 see) (P=0.0938, Mann-Whitney test). In conclusion, HT could no replace IBT for detecting the primary hemostasis function of platelet.
