子宮內膜基質肉瘤為一相當罕見的低度惡性子宮肉瘤，其處正來源尚未定論且廣受爭議。在組織學上，此腫瘤具有多種型態的變化，以致出現許多混淆不清的同養名稱。本病例報告一位52歲婦女，經病理切片誼賓為典型的子宮內膜基質肉瘤。我們採用過氧化酶染色法，染以Desmin、Keratin、Vimentin和factor-VIII-related antigen，以探討此一腫瘤的來源，自Desmin呈陽性染色結果顯示腫瘤呈類上皮細胞分化形成叢狀和性索狀病灶的區域，有平骨肌細胞分化的特徵。有關腫瘤的組織來源、形態和治療亦加以討論。

Uterine endometrial stromal sarcoma is an uncommon low grade malignant sarcoma of uterus. Its true nature is still uncertain and controversial. Histologically, this tumor has numerously pathologic patterns. So, the plethoric synonyms has added and confused to this entity. We report a case of 52-year-old woman. The tumor was diagnosed as typical endometrial stromal sarcoma based on pathological examination. We utilized the immunochisto-peroxidase anti-peroxidase staining, including the Desmin, Keratin, Vimentin and Factor-VIII-related-antigen, to elucidate the origin of the tumor. The evidence of Desmin positive staining suggests that the epitheloid-like lesion of the plexiform and sex-cord areas represents a smooth nuscle cells differentiation. The literature regarding the histogenesis, morphology and treatment of the this tumor are also reviewed.
