本研究以放電合金化方式進行肥粒鐵基球墨鑄鐵表面改質,在固定的放電加工參數及改變成份(電極材料Si、Al、Ni、Mg及Cr)下,將這些合金元素溶入試片。針對放電合金化層之不同電極材料的元素合金化效應探討,實驗結果發現鎂電極所得之合金化層厚度最大,而鉻電極之合金化層厚度較薄。此外,亦利用EPMA/mapping進行各種元素於合金化層其各成分分佈型態之解析,以及運用X光繞射分析合金化層的相組成。硬度值測試結果顯示鉻元素的合金化層硬度值為最高,推測可能與合金化層內生成含鉻的碳化物有關。 |
英文摘要 |
In this study, electrical discharge alloying (EDA) is used to modify the surface of ferritic spheroidal graphite cast iron. Under the conditions of fixed parameters for electrical discharge machining and variable alloying elements (i.e. electrode materials Si, Al, Ni, Mg and Cr), these alloy elements are dissolved into specimens. Then, the effects of alloying with different alloy elements on the EDA modified layers are investigated. Experimental results reveal that the Mg electrode has produced the thickest EDA modified layer while the Cr electrode has produced a thinner layer. In addition, EPMA/mapping is also used to analyze the distribution patterns of different elements in their respective EDA modified layers and X-ray diffraction is used to analyze the phase compositions of these layers. The results of hardness tests indicate that the layer EDA modified with the Cr element has the highest hardness value. This may be related to the formation of Cr-containing carbides in the layer. |
