究竟是態度影響行爲或行爲影響態度?許多學者對於態度與行爲關係之說法不一,本研究以社區所舉辦之環境敎育活動,探討居民參與社區環境敎育活動之行爲與環境態度兩者間的關係,首先比較有無實際參與活動者之環境態度差異,並進一步對活動參與者進行活動前、後環境態度及對社區環境認知的差異。社區環境態度量表是依據社區環境特色:社區文史、社區植物、社區動物、社區河川及社區環保事務五單元,分別以態度在認知、情感及行動傾向三向度中各擬定二個問項,合計三十個問項所組成。研究結果顯示:1.活動參與者環境態度大都顯著較未參加者爲積極,且以「社區文史」、「社區植物」及「社區河川」達顯著差異。參加者之態度在「認知」、「情感」及「行動傾向」之評值均顯著較未參加者爲高,尤以「認知」之差異最大。2.活動參與者活動後在環境態度之「行動傾向」與社區環境內容之「社區河川」及「社區環保」的認知亦達顯著差異。本研究結果說明態度確實會影響參與活動之行爲,尤其「認知」影響較「情感」及「行動傾向」爲大,而參與活動之後又會改變其環境態度,並顯著地增加其「行動傾向」態度向度。 |
英文摘要 |
Does attitude affect behavior or behavior affect attitude? Scholars have different opinions as to the relationship between behavior and attitude. This study explored the relationship between environmental attitude and behavior via residents' participation in a community education activity. There were two steps of study procedures. First, the difference in environmental attitude of participants and non-participants was compared. Then the differential attitude of before-and-after activities of participants was compared. The Community Environment Attitude measurement scale included 30 questions, which were created on the basis of five environmental education subprograms: history of the community, local vegetation, local animals, local river pollution and community environmental protection. Each module included two items of three attitude components: cognition, affection, and action tendency. The results showed: 1. Most participants' environmental attitude items were significantly higher than non-participants. Participants and non-participants had significant difference in three environmental education subprograms: ”history of the community”, ”community vegetation”, and ”community river pollution.” Participants' attitude had higher scores than non-participants in ”cognition”, ”affection” and ”tendency to action”, especially in cognition. 2. Activity-participants had more knowledge about community. The participants increased the ”tendency to action” of attitude elements and ”community river pollution” and ”community environmental protection” of environmental education subprograms after their participating in the activity. The results showed that attitudes, especially ”cognition”, affected participating behavior, stronger than ”affection” and ”tendency to action”. However, after participating in activities behavior also influenced environmental attitude of ”tendency to action”. |
