透過對柏格森《物質與記憶》的反覆解讀,德勒茲構思了一門極為獨特與原創的影像論。如果《物質與記憶》將一切「構體」(corps)皆視為影像,從而建構一種影像宇宙論,德勒茲的《時間-影像》則進一步將思想也影像化,只是在思想影像化的同時,影像概念本身也被徹底重構,並在重構中逼顯思想的繁複多樣性。而其最主要特徵,就是德勒茲哲學中一再企圖給予的虛擬性(virtualité)。非順時性時間、非再現式影像與非同一性思想,三者共同述說了德勒茲哲學至為重要的虛擬性,而也正是在此條件下,《時間-影像》所提出的難解等式:思想=影像=時間,最終得以成立,但必然只成立於以差異為基調的思考之中。 |
英文摘要 |
With his reiterative interpretations of Bergson's ”Material and Memory”, Deleuze conceives a particular and original discourse of Image. If ”Material and Memory” considers all kinds of ”body” as images and thus constructs a cosmology of image; then, Deleuze's ”Time-Image” furthermore transforms thought into image. However, in this transformation, the concept of image itself is reconstructed thoroughly. And the complexity and multiplicity of thought is also revealed in this reconstruction. Its crucial characteristic is the virtuality which Deleuze's philosophy has always attempted to endow. Non-chronological time, non-representative image and non-identical thought elucidate together the virtuality which is essential in Deleuze's philosophy. It is also in this condition that the abstruse formula proposed by Time-Image, thought = image = time, can finally be established, but only in a thought based on difference. |
