儘管工地安全文化或安全氣候對安全績效的影響之研究不少,但甚少文獻探討台灣營建業之領導行為及安全文化對安全績效之影響。本研究參考相關文獻進行量表擬定及專家訪談,自72項問項中整理出54項問項,依序進行探索性因素分析、驗證性因素分析及結構方程模型,以衡量領導行為、安全文化與安全績效間之關係。研究發現,體制型領導比關懷型領導對安全文化有較大的正向影響,安全文化亦影響安全績效,領導行為可透過安全文化對營建安全績效產生顯著影響。如何增加關懷型領導以建立安全文化進而影響安全管理系統,應是台灣營建業的重要課題。

英文摘要

While there are studies that investigate the effects of safety culture or safety climate in job sites on safety performance, there are no existing studies that examine the effects of leadership behaviors and safety culture on construction safety performance. In this study, related literature was referred for the development of rating scales, and expert interviews were conducted. Fifty-four factors were extracted from 72 initial factors in question items and underwent first exploratory factor analysis (EFA) and then confirmatory factor analysis (CFA). Finally, a structural equation model (SEM) was created to measure the interactions between the three dimensions and the relationships between key factors in these dimensions. Analytical results show that both consideration and initiating structure leaderships have significant positive direct effects on safety culture. Regarding influential effects, both consideration and initiating structure leaderships can have impacts on proactive and passive performance via safety culture. This study also finds that initiating structure leadership has greater positive effects on safety culture, which also has an influence on construction safety performance. How to build a safety culture through consideration leadership to affect a safety management system is an important issue for Taiwan's construction industry.
