This research aimed to develop a real-time searching tool, T-search, for historical typhoon events. To enable quick reviewing of historical typhoons, this research developed a route-matching algorithm that allows the user to search historical typhoons by simply inputting the typhoon centers' locations. In addition, a user interface was designed for the user to operate the tool intuitively. To validate the efficiency of T-search, this study conducted a usability test. After the usability test, a field test was coordinated with the government of Taiwan. The results showed that T-search can help the related personnel to intuitively search and review the historical typhoon information and to efficiently develop corresponding response strategies.

在風災的應變過程中,決策者常須參考類似路徑之歷史颱風事件,從歷史事件的經驗中做出對應之決策,因此如何有效地搜尋歷史颱風是風災應變中極為重要的關鍵。本研究目的係開發一歷史颱風搜尋工具,透過颱風路徑比對方法的開發,讓使用者能即時地比對出與現有颱風相似路徑之歷史颱風事件。並以臺灣之歷史颱風為例,實作出以響應式網頁為基礎之颱風搜。經過兩年於實際場域中的使用者測試後,驗證出颱風搜確實能有效地在應變過程中,輔助決策者快速搜尋歷史颱風事件。
