本文首先分析和批評了牟宗三先生對孔子仁學的本體化詮釋，然後從一個後現代性的視角予以重新閱讀，認為孔子的「仁」是一個實踐性的、過程性的和無限開放的哲學範疇，並暗示正是這樣一個「仁」成就了中華文化的包容性和開放性。

This eassay critically reviewed Zongsan Mou's ontological Interpretation of Confucius's doctrine of REN, therefore, is readfined as an open-ended category, representing a performance, and a process. It is the REN understood as such that has led the Chinese culture to its openness and all-inclusiveness.
