本文的目的在於討論多瑪斯對靈魂的定義，靈魂是實體，雖是不完整的實體，但是作為人存在實現的形式，此亦是大部分中世紀哲學家們對於靈魂的看法，而後才對於靈魂相關問題有不同的爭論。

This paper is about the discussion on the definition of the ”Soul” according Thomas Aquinas. He claimed that the soul is a substance, but it is not a complete substance; the soul is as the substantial form of the body. This is the view of most philosophers concerned in the medieval ages, and they had argued on the base of Aquinas and also argued other questions about the soul.
