祈禱，在西方通常被學者們視為一種重要的宗教行為。但隨著目前歐陸（尤其是法國）哲學研究領域中神學轉向的發生，祈禱逐漸成為人文學者關注及討論的主要議題。而本文即以此現象為思考進路，通過分析德希達、勒維納斯、南茜等人關於祈禱的討論，試圖探究為何當代西方學者紛紛討論祈禱，而關於祈禱又有哪些重要的議題吸引了他們的注意。

Pray is usually considered as the important religious act in the West. However, with the studying trend of continental philosophy (especially French philosophy) turning to the theology at present, pray is gradually becoming into the main topic that is paid close attention and discussed by more and more humanistic scholars. Therefore, taking the above-mentioned as the point of departure, with a close reading of the papers on the pray written by Jacques Derrida, Emmanuel Levinas and Jean-Luc Nancy, this paper intends to probe the two issues. First, why do the contemporary western scholars discuss the pray one after another? Second, concerning the pray, what on earth grasp the eyes of so much western thinkers?
