本文主要採概念分析及詮釋學方法,闡釋Dunne與Ricoeur實踐智慧概念及其道德教育意涵。歸納本文的分析,Dunne認為實踐智慧是慎思的卓越,亦即個人在當下面對某一情境的覺察及準確回應,並表現合於中道之行為,而實踐智慧的培養可採歸納的模式,且經習慣化的歷程而形塑;Ricoeur則主張批判的實踐智慧,其特性是在複雜情境或公共論爭中進行道德判斷時,需透過公共論辯、友善討論而形成道德判斷的辯證共通性。Dunne與Ricoeur實踐智慧觀點的德育意涵為:(1)教導學生具備判斷在某些情境中如何行事的慎思能力,及如何在過與不及的衝突矛盾中自我控制;(2)培養學生從「他律」式的實踐道德原則,進而在某些情境中能「自律」式的擁有對情境的洞察識見;(3)具有實踐智慧的人面對複雜的實際情境,可運用詮釋循環,以逐漸形成辯證共通的實踐智慧;(4)當學生面對模稜兩可或爭議性的情境時,需教導他們以公共論辯、同理說服、友善討論的方式解決,俾培養批判的實踐智慧。

英文摘要

The purposes of this essay concentrate on "practical wisdom" concept and implications for moral education in Taiwan through the perspective of J. Dunne and P. Ricoeur. Therefore, this essay is intended as investigations as follows: (1) analyze Dunne's discourse about practical wisdom and the relevant concepts; (2) explore Ricoeur's discourse about practical wisdom; (3) provide implications and suggestions for moral education based on the research results.
