On the Technological Issues in Merleau-Ponty's Phenomenology of the Body

梅洛－龐蒂的身體現象學理論本身已然蘊含著豐富的技術思想，這一技術思想包含著從技術性的起源到技術物的進化的全過程。筆者在揭櫫梅洛－龐蒂技術思想的基礎上，結合西蒙東對技術性的起源和技術物的進化問題的追問，提出技術進化的兩次「分離」模式。第一次分離是作為個別的現象身體從作為普遍事物意義的肉身當中的分離，這次分離的結果是身體作為「技術個體」的出現；第二次分離是技術物和技術系統從身體體現狀態中的分離，身體反而成為技術物和技術系統的組成部分，這次分離的結果是「技術組合」的出現。隨著上述兩次分離，身體與技術之間的關係也發生著相應反轉。

Merleau-Ponty's phenomenology of the body has already implied rich thoughts of technology, these thoughts contain the whole process from the genesis of technicity to the evolution of technical objects. On this basis, combined with Gilbert Simondon's ideas about the genesis of technicity and the evolution of technical objects, I would like to put forward two ＂split＂ modes of technological evolution. The first ＂split＂ is the separate lived bodies split from the ＂flesh＂ as the general meaning of things, the consequence of this split is the emergence of bodies as ＂technical individuals＂; the second ＂split＂ is the technical objects and systems split from the embodied state of the body, the body on the contrary becomes the component part of them, and the consequence of this split is the emergence of the ＂technical ensemble＂. With the splits above, the relation between body and technology has also reversed.
