「神操」概念的古代起源與當代轉化－以阿道的修身哲學為中心的詮釋

「神操／精神操存」是皮埃爾．阿道修身哲學中的核心概念。他一生都在圍繞此概念進行古代哲學的評註與詮釋，目的在於揭櫫古代哲學貫通著修身實踐的操持工夫，以便為今人提供一種可學而至的生活模式。無疑，這是對依納爵「神操」思想的重新詮釋，也是「哲學」古義的當代印證。本文從歷史淵源、概念內涵、修身實踐、中西會通四個角度分別考察了「神操／精神操存」概念的古代起源與當代轉化，指出阿道是在不同於宗教的意義上詮釋「精神操存」的「生活方式」。這不僅能重新更正我們對哲學本身的理解， 同時也能回答當代人的生活選擇如何承續古人的智慧。

＂Spiritual exercises＂ is the core concept in Pierre Hadot's philosophy of cultivate one's morality. Around this concept, Hadot has devoted all his life to commenting and interpreting ancient philosophical texts. His purpose is to reveal the running time of the ancient philosophy through cultivate one's morality practice, in order to provide a kind of the model of living that can be learned and achieved. There is no doubt that this is a reinterpretation of the ＂spiritual exercises＂ of St. Ignatius of Loyola, also a confirmation of the old meaning of ＂philosophy＂ in contemporary. This article respectively investigates the four perspectives of ancient origin and contemporary transformation of ＂spiritual exercises＂ from historical origin, fundamental connotation, moral practice of self-cultivation and integration of Chinese and Western philosophies, and points out that Hadot's interpretation about the ＂way of life＂ of ＂spiritual exercises＂ is different from the meaning of religion. This is not only able to correct our understanding of philosophy itself, but also can answer the contemporary life choice how to inherit the wisdom of the ancients.
