英文摘要 |
There have always been many opinions on the "Qian know the great beginning" in Part One of the Great Commentary of the I Ching. Compared with Zhu Xi and Wang Longxi's insights, French philosopher Jullien followed the more persuasive view of Wang Fuzhi, trying to re-understand the "qianzhi" in the context of the contrast between Chinese thoughts of "hua" (transformation) and Western ontology. Jullien reveals the three inter-connected dimensions of "qianzhi", that is, the "processive knowledge" that is met by men's action is the knowledge of "ji" of "silence transformation" of things. It can further mature into the "intimate knowledge" that fits with transformation. From this state of familiarity, the "yuzhi", which is a prescience, will be produced. Comparing Jullien's and Mou Zongsan's views on "qianzhi", Mou Zongsan paid more attention to the holistic sense of "qianzhi"-"silence-affection"-than Jullien, but he failed to fully demonstrate "affection" as Jullien did. Their arguments do not constitute opposition and can complement each other. |
