作為哲學史上的老問題,張載哲學本原之辯的焦點在於虛氣關係的判定。張載確有將「太虛」解釋為「氣」的傾向,也就是將二者視為同一事物的不同形態或階段,但這幾未超出宋代以前中國本土氣論哲學的高度,難以構成真正的哲學貢獻。從問題意識來看,張載意欲通過轉化佛道兩家的本原概念「太虛」,對治佛老,重振儒門。轉化之後的「太虛」既非佛家之「空」,亦非道家之「無」,而是普遍、永恆、無限的實存,且深具道德屬性;「太虛」與「氣」既非心物關係,亦非生成關係,而是體用關係。儘管張載對體用範式的運用還不成熟,「虛體氣用」與「虛氣同質」的並存也帶來了張力,但也正是這種轉換思維的開新努力構成了張載的創見,使其躋身理學開拓者行列。 |

As an old problem in the history of philosophy, the focus of Zhang Zai's argument on the origin of philosophy is the determination of the relationship between Xu (虛) and Qi (氣). Zhang Zai does have a tendency to interpret Taixu (太虛) as Qi, that is, Taixu and Qi can be understood as different forms or stages of the same thing, but this does not exceed the height of Chinese indigenous Qi theory philosophy before Song Dynasty, so it is difficult to constitute the real contribution of Zhang Zai's philosophy. From the perspective of problem consciousness, Zhang Zai intends to transform the original concept of Taixu of Buddhism and Taoism to effectively fight against Buddhism and rebuild Confucian values. The Taixu after connotation updating is neither the emptiness of Buddhism nor the nothingness of Taoism, but a universal, eternal and infinite reality. The relationship between Taixu and Qi is neither a physical generative relationship, nor a relationship of meaning presentation, but a relationship of body and function. This change of thinking is Zhang Zai's new view. "Xu and Qi are Homogeneous" and "Xu is Body and Qi is Use" brought tension, but it was this innovation effort that made Zhang Zai an important pioneer of Neo-Confucianism. |
