A 60 year-old female suffered from cough with whitish sputum fro 3-4 months. She visited VGH Taipei and adenocarcinoma of lung was told on July 27, 1992. She was transferred to our hospital due to dyspnea on Aug. 12. During hospitalization, pericardiac effusion with cardiac tamponade and seizure occurred. After death, autopsy proved bronchio-alveolar adenocarcinoma of lung with multiple organs metastasis. The cause of death was respiratory failure. (Tzu-Chi Med J 1994; 6: 223-232) |
