關於建築與關於建築教育常是一起討論的題目。路康與眾不同地提出建築不存在、不具外相的獨特觀點。康無非是在強調建築永恆的精神特質，無涉傳統、潮流、方法與風格。建築純粹是自由的真理追求。建築由小如一室出發，著重細膩的經營，在建築教學上首重啟發。康的寓言大學教堂不足以進去以下樹下的學校本源均寓含性靈啟發的個人儀典性。本論文將散落各處的路康言論，總結出康對建築與建築教育的幾個獨到觀點，期盼如此能讓讀者得以窺見一代巨匠的心靈世界。本文主要論點如下：一、建築的精神性二、建築的恆常性三、一室—建築之本質四、大學教室的寓意五、建築啟發教學

Both what is architecture and what is architectural education are similar issues. Kahn's unique proposal that architecture does not exist／architecture really has no presence, emphasizes the permanence of architecture as a spirit. Architecture has nothing to do with traditions, comtemporaries, methods or styles. It is truth-pursuing. Architecture stem: from a room, a sophiscated arrangement of space and light. The essence of architectural education is spiritual inspiration. Kahn's allegories of a university chapel and people talking under a tree symbolize the personal ritual of inspiration. This paper tries to establish a systematic description of the maestro's inner world from the scattered materials of Kahn’s speech. Main issues includes:1. Architecture as a spirit2.
