新化鎮歷史街屋是典型的日治時期歷史街屋,除了有當時日人引進之西方建築工藝特徵之外,也融和部份台灣傳統建築之做法。為具體瞭解老街之構造及損壞情況,本研究設計損壞調查表實地進行調查。並做損壞等級評估。調查評估表分街屋基本資料、騎樓結構、騎樓附屬結構、以及滲漏水和潮氣四部份。調查結果顯示整條歷史街屋因建造時間以及匠師不同,騎樓結構有磚柱+木樓板、RC柱+RC樓板以及不同混合等五種型態。其中磚柱+木樓板的損壞一般而言比RC柱+RC樓板之街屋來得嚴重。另從調查結果亦發現街屋邊間、騎樓柱梁結點以及街屋正面與隔戶牆之交接面都是最容易發生損壞之位置。而新化老街因長年失修,屋頂、牆面漏水滲水情況相當嚴重,此狀況除了住戶生活不便外,間接亦加遽柱、樑、樓板、牆體等結構部材之損壞。由於老街構造損壞嚴重,且立接近新化斷層,末來在規劃保存再利用時。除了現有情況必須改善外,街屋結構之耐震安全亦須做加強。 |

The Chung-Kai-Shu Street in Hsin-Hwa Town is an architectural heritage of Japanese occupied period, which combines the characteristics of western building technology and traditional Taiwanese construction method.In this paper, we design a procedure to survey the town-house and to evaluate the existing building damages. The procedure contains these parts i.e. basic material; Bmain structure (facade structure and pedestrian corridor); Bsubstructure (daughter wall. balcony, etc); Band water leaking.According to our survey it is found that the structure damages arc concentrated at town-house; Bbeam-column joints of pedestrian corridors, and the intersection at facade structure and common walls of two neighboring buildings which perpendicular to the facade structure.Since the street is old and not well maintained, the water leaking situation is very serious. This situation not only causes inconenience to the occupants but also accelerates the structural damage of RC beams; BRC column; BRC floors; Band brick walls.In summary, due to the fact that the old street is seriously damaged, and near-by the active Hsin-Hwa fault, we suggest that during planning the preservation and rehabilitation of Hsin-Hwa street, the existing damage must be improved and the seismic vulnerability of the town-house must be upgraded too. |
