本文針對建築給排水設備於九二一地震中所遭受之破壞狀況,以南投某飯店為例,進行個案之震害型態量化統計與分析。具體研究成果包括1.分析調查所得之震害型態依發生機率由高至低為:穿過伸縮縫管破壞、建築外部引入管破壞、結構體內埋設管破壞、非埋設管破壞、盥洗台破壞、飲水機破壞、馬桶破壞等七種。2.不論是埋設管或非埋設管震害型態,以管路構件分析,管路壁面出口及接頭是破壞發生之主要項目。若以管路部位分析,埋設管之垂直配管震害情形遠較水平埋設管嚴重;反之非埋設管則以水平配管震害情形較為嚴重。3.給排水設備震害主因為地震造成結構體之層間變位過大及設備機材之加速度過大所致。其中與層間變位作用相關之震害型態為結構體內之埋設管破壞;與加速度作用相關之震害型態包括因慣性力過大的飲水機破壞、馬桶破壞、盥洗台破壞及因相對位移過大之非埋设管破壞等。 |

The Chi-Chi earthquake (M(subscript L)=7.3) struck Taiwan on September 21,1999. It caused serious damage to buildings located in central Taiwan. This research focuses on the damaged plumbing system in a slightly damaged hotel structure located in Nan-Tou County. Statistics from the site investigation indicate several damage patterns. Appropriate improvement strategies are suggested in this paper and are based on the results of the investigation as follows: 1. The susceptibility of plumbing system components to earthquake damage from most vulnerable to least vulnerable was expansion joints, building boundary, buried pipes, unburied pipes, washstands, drinking water machines, and water closets. 2. The major components damaged in the piping system were outlet elbows and pipes. 3. The main criteria that dictated plumbing damage in a building were inter-story drift and floor acceleration. Inter-story drift affected the damage to buried pipes while floor acceleration affected the damage to unburied pipes, washstands, drinking water machines and water closets. |
